Knowledge is Power
"Scientia potentia est" or "Knowledge is power" is a proverb that is commonly attributed to Sir Francis Beacon and was written for the first time in 1668 version of Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes.
"Knowledge is power" means that when you have the knowledge and/or awareness regarding something, be it a particular matter, you also have that ability to influence your decision to select or choose. It is also the ability to acquire knowledge and information and then preserving and passing it on to the future generations. And according to Lehrer, information becomes individual knowledge when it is accepted by an individual as a proper understanding of what is true and what is a valid interpretation of reality.
There is a saying that goes "the internet is forever." And especially on media sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), if you upload something, even though you can delete it, there's still a chance that it can still be out there since it's been replicated numerous times and since things on the internet can spread like wildfire.
In this day and age, people now have many new ways to get their information, making it more convenient. People are now able to do tasks like shopping, order food, conduct a meeting, or any other important ordeal online.
